Zen Jargon / Glossary of Zen Terms

Most people start practicing with us on Saturday mornings, the most lively part of the week at AZC. We suggest beginning with the Beginners' Program and staying all morning on the first visit. If you cannot come Saturday, you can arrange private instruction at another time by clicking here. The Saturday service involves chanting the Heart Sutra and the Ten Verse Kannon Sutra for the well being of anyone who is ill or endangered. If you have someone you'd like us to acknowledge during this service, you can submit their name here or give the name to the Ino (zendo manager).

Classes are offered periodically. Our head teacher and senior students are available to provide guidance on training and practicing in the world with one's own karmic situation.
